Beverly Fisher, ASSOCIATE ASLA

Landscape Designer

Beverly is an artist and landscape designer. Growing up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the simplicity and directness of Amish home life and farms honed an eye for vernacular architecture and seasonal landscape changes. Everything in her work reflects the desire to pay close attention, take direct risks, slow down, question and think. Living in both rural and urban environments informed her design approach by raising fundamental questions about spatial and temporal matters. Beverly was one of the first artists to work with Philadelphia’s Restored Spaces Initiative that uses art as a platform for neighborhood change. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums nationally, including the Santa Fe Art Institute, NYC Art on Paper Fair, Anderson Ranch Art Center Colorado and the Bachechi Open Space in Albuquerque.

Master of Landscape Architecture, University of New Mexico
Master of Fine Arts, Tyler School of Art
